Sample search queries and search results

Typing this term	Results in

How search results are presented

The result you see when you search for calendar events depends upon the calendar view. For example, if you're looking at a calendar in Month view and you search for events that contain a specific term, you may not see any events in the current month that match your search criteria. You may have to scroll to a different month to find the events.

On the other hand, if you're looking at a calendar in List view, you'll immediately see a list of events that match your search criteria.

In addition, in response to every search, a search results bar appears above the calendar.

Search and selection criteria

Clicking Clear clears the search criteria.

The following table summarizes the search results you see for various calendar views.

List Table	A list of events immediately appears.
5 Week Month Week Day	Events appear immediately only if they occur in the displayed time period. You might see a message that no events could be found.

If the search is unsuccessful for a calendar in any view, the search results bar looks like this:

When no events match the search criteria, a No events match your search criteria message appears in the bar.
